This Policy may be updated at any time by notice on the website and/or by email, if the User has opted to receive communications from the HOTEL.

1. What Information We Collect 

The HOTEL may collect information actively entered by the User during registration, as well as information collected automatically when using the pages and network, such as, for example, identification of the commercial establishment used, IP address with connection date and time, among others.   Thus, two types of personal data are processed: 

a) Information provided by the User: The HOTEL collects all information actively entered by the User on the Pages, such as full name, email address, gender, date of birth, city, and state, when the User fills out forms on the Pages. The HOTEL may use this information to distribute advertising materials, promotions, discounts, event announcements, and loyalty program information, as well as to conduct satisfaction surveys.   b) Data may also be collected automatically, such as information about the access device and browser, IP address (with date and time), IP origin, information about clicks and pages accessed, pages visited after leaving the Pages, and any search term entered on the site or used to access it, among other data. Standard technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, beacons, and local shared objects may be used to collect this data in order to improve the User’s browsing experience on the Pages in line with their habits and preferences.   Automatic collection of information through certain technologies, such as cookies and caches, can be disabled through your internet browser settings. Cookies can also be disabled on our website. However, Users should be aware that disabling these technologies may prevent certain website features that rely on processing this data from working properly.   In addition, satisfaction surveys may be conducted, collecting information to help us continually improve our services, better understand your preferences, and assess the quality of and your impressions of our tools, as well as for statistical and advertising purposes.   The information collected may be shared by the HOTEL with: a) other partner companies, when necessary for the proper provision of services related to their business activities; b) to protect the HOTEL’s interests in any type of dispute; c) pursuant to a court decision or a request from a competent authority.   We also clarify that your information may be shared with companies that provide the technological and operational infrastructure necessary for the HOTEL’s activities, such as payment intermediaries and information storage service providers.   The User may access, update, and add to their data, and may also request that the data collected for the HOTEL be deleted. The HOTEL is responsible for processing the request and notifying any Data Processors that may be part of the booking chain. The Controller is responsible for ensuring that the Data Processors fulfill their deletion obligations. Data will only not be deleted if a legal obligation prevents the request from being fulfilled. If no request is made to delete or update data, the HOTEL is responsible for complying with the retention periods established by law.

2. How We Use Your Data

The information collected by the HOTEL is intended to establish a contractual relationship or to manage, administer, provide, expand and improve the Pages for the User, tailoring them to their preferences and tastes, as well as to create new services and products to offer Users.   If the User no longer wishes to receive promotional updates from the HOTEL, they may contact the HOTEL at any time through its customer service channels. The User is solely responsible for notifying any Data Operators involved throughout the reservation process.   Legal Basis: In these cases, data processing is authorized under item I of Article 7 of Law No. 13.709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (“General Data Protection Law - LGPD”). 

3. How We Use Cookies 

Cookies are files or information that may be stored on your devices when you visit the HOTEL's Pages. A cookie generally contains the name of the website that created it, its lifespan and a value generated at random.   The HOTEL uses cookies to make the Pages easier to use and better tailor them to your interests and needs, as well as to compile information about how our websites and services are used, helping us improve their structure and content. Cookies may also be used to speed up your activities and enhance your future experiences on the Pages. 

After the User consents to the use of cookies while using the HOTEL Pages, the HOTEL may store a cookie on the User’s device to remember this consent during their next session. 4. Who We Share Data With

The HOTEL works with partners that provide solutions for the tourism and hotel industries, as well as the corporate sector, and may share the information collected through the Pages in the following cases:

a) With other companies in the Group, established or operating in any country, which agree to use the information for the same purposes set out in this Policy;b) With partner companies in the course of HOTEL’s business activities, including booking connections and distribution, servers, etc.;c) To protect HOTEL’s interests in any type of dispute, including legal proceedings;d) In the event of transactions or corporate changes involving HOTEL, where the transfer of information is necessary to ensure the continuity of services; or,e) By court order or at the request of administrative authorities with legal authority to make such requests.

5. How We Keep Data Secure

The HOTEL will store the information collected on its Pages with Data Processors or those hired by the HOTEL.

The HOTEL uses reasonable, industry-standard and legally required means to protect the privacy of data collected on its Pages. Accordingly, it adopts the following precautions, in compliance with the security standards established in Decree No. 8.771/2016, and works with Data Processors that follow the same standards. Data Processors are responsible only for any data that passes through their systems for the full processing of reservations; they are not responsible for managing or overseeing how the HOTEL conducts its Internal Policies, practices or security procedures.

The HOTEL makes every effort to protect Users’ data privacy. However, no website is completely secure, and the HOTEL cannot fully guarantee that all information transmitted through the Pages will be protected from unauthorized access using methods developed to obtain information improperly. For this reason, we encourage Users to take appropriate steps to protect themselves, such as not allowing third parties to use their personal information, credit cards, or passwords.

6. Retention of Collected Information

As a rule, information collected by the HOTEL through the Pages will be automatically deleted from its servers when it is no longer needed for its intended purpose, once legal obligations have been fulfilled, or when the user requests deletion of their personal data. Notwithstanding the foregoing, information may be retained to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Information may be transferred to third parties; the HOTEL is responsible for verifying the reliability of its Data Processors and will hold them liable only if it is proven that any damages were caused by the Data Processors.

7. Your Rights

In compliance with applicable regulations regarding the processing of personal data, HOTEL is responsible to the User for receiving requests based on the following rights:a) confirmation that their data is being processed;b) access to their data;c) correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;d) blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed unlawfully;e) deletion of data processed with the User’s consent;f) information about the public or private entities with which HOTEL has shared their data;g) information about the option not to provide consent, as well as the consequences of refusing to do so;h) withdrawal of consent.If the User needs any assistance exercising their rights, they may contact HOTEL as instructed in this Policy.The User acknowledges that deleting information essential to managing their account with HOTEL will result in the termination of their registration and the consequent cancellation of the services then being provided.Contact us at:  reservas@plazacamboriu.com.br with the subject line Privacy Policy.

THE HOTEL will make every effort to fulfill such requests as quickly as possible. However, even if a request for deletion is made, the minimum data retention period for users of Internet applications, as required by Brazilian law, will be observed.

8. Consumer Relations

The HOTEL is directly responsible for all consumer relations with guests; any Data Processors are not responsible for such matters.

9. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially Law No. 13.709/2018.
